Rangi Kipa is an Artist whose sculpture, carvings and taa moko are at the forefront of contemporary Maori art that challenges boundaries, creates dialogue, traverses the art/object divide and confronts the modern world that we live in as Maori and non-Maori. His work engages on a domestic and international stage. Rangi Kipa enjoys the possibilities and challenges of using Corian (tm) and Staron (tm) a blend of natural materials and acrylic polymer.
